Christina Kliewer BSc, MPT, Vestibular Therapist
Christina graduated from the Masters in Physical Therapy program at the University of British Columbia in 2012. During her time at UBC, Christina worked with a large variety of client populations including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and post-surgical patients. Christina and her team received the GSS Open Circle Award for excellence in research for their Masters project. Prior to completing her masters degree, Christina graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2009.
Christina is committed to continuing education and has completed training in the management and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction including bladder and bowel incontinence, diastasis recti and prolapse. She is passionate about women’s health about helping women regain functional control through strengthening, education and modalities.
She has also completed courses in vestibular therapy and is able to offer treatment to patients suffering with dizziness. Christina has completed her Orthopedic Level 1 and Lower Quadrant Mulligan technique. She enjoys working with all populations and ages.
Christina utilizes a combination of an individualized exercised-based program, hands-on techniques and modalities to manage pain and help her clients reach their goals.
Christina has a background in soccer and basketball and she believes in promoting lifelong activity at all levels. When she is not at work she can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her young family.
