Kerrin Baxter, RMT

Kerrin graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2011. Since then, she has furthered her education through courses in postural correction, orthopedic assessment and treatment of the spine, hip, pelvis, and shoulder, and athletic taping. She uses a variety of techniques including myofascial release, deep petrissage, IASTM, pin and stretch, and joint mobilizations to relieve muscle hypertonicity and promote balance in muscle strength and mobility. She also provides stretching and strengthening exercises to help clients achieve their goals and maintain long term results.

While pursuing her love of sports, particularly soccer, Kerrin has experienced various injuries and undergone 4 ACL reconstruction surgeries in her knees. These, and other injuries, have taught her the importance of completing the proper rehabilitation programs in order to return to an active, healthy lifestyle. Through her training and rehab, Kerrin has been able to return to her regular fitness routines including strength and sprint training, running, hiking, and tennis.
