Dillon Peters, RMT
Dillon has been in full time practice as an RMT since 2018 and is passionate about his career. He enjoys helping people manage their pain and injuries and the pursuit of getting well. With an athletic background, he has dealt with injuries of his own and believes this has given him an understanding and interest in sport related injuries and orthopaedics. Dillon has particular interest and experience treating neck and back related injuries and pain, TMJ dysfunction and shoulder joint related injuries. To achieve results, he will use a variety of treatment techniques such as active release, fascial release, passive/active stretching, IASTM (scraping), pin and stretch, and ischemic compressions.
In recent years, he has studied the Bowen Technique which is a form of hands-on bodywork which was created by Thomas Ambrose Bowen in Australia. This technique uses specific rolling movements focused on the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, along with the fascia and skin around them. These movements aim to reduce pain, dysfunction and compensations in the body.
