Jill Simpson

Jill graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science. Jill grew up very active, thus experiencing physical injuries, and exposing her to the benefit of active rehabilitation, and the relief it can provide from physical limitations.

During her undergraduate degree, Jill had the experience of volunteering with the Special Olympics of British Columbia and also at a neuroplasticity clinic which provided a wide variety of experience with different individuals and limitations. Following her undergraduate degree, Jill has worked with athletes, youth clients, musculoskeletal injuries, ICBC injuries, stroke clients, and the geriatric population. Jill is a big believer in continued learning as a therapist, and she has her ACSM certification as a personal trainer, which helps her to further understand the human body and it’s many movements. She is also works as a Rehabilitation Assistant with Fraser Health.

During her time off, Jill loves to stay active in anyway, whether it be in the gym or out in nature. Some of her leisure (and stress reliving!) activities are walking the dog, painting, and spending time with loved ones.
